Music is universal. As an art form music can and should be used as a way to protest against inequalities, against war, against corruption, against bad politics, against bad politicians, against dictators, against greed, against ultra liberalism, against pollution and polluters, against child poverty and exploitation, against misogyny, against misery, against slavery, against ignorance and illiteracy, against sexism and sexual violence, against racism. Yes, black lives matter, all lives matter, regardless of color.
Music is universal. We are universal, peace amongst mankind has to endure.
I am just one of you, one like you, like everyone else. I am as special as you are. Born somewhere, somehow, cold grey morning, outskirts of nowhere. I'm the son of a lady who couldn't care less about her baby. Never seen my precious father - just a story like many others...
Entered politics, found myself surrounded by a bunch of corrupt liars, scoundrels and lobbyists - a few good human beings there, not many. Music became my refuge, my holy grail. Found peace writing lyrics and composing.
We are meaningless, deception is everywhere. Some say humans are probably the worst species on Earth, that we should be pulverized. Am I human? Are you? Maybe the characters on tele are, maybe not. Am I a musician or a writer? It really doesn't matter who I am, who you are. I believe we can do better, much, much better. I believe in you and me, if we shift our focus miracles will happen. Have faith in yourself, have faith in mankind. Let music fill your soul and sing, shout, dance. Embrace life and happiness.
Soon to be destroyed unless we do something to prevent our own collapse.
We must get our fat ass moving sprightly, getting out of our comfort zone, making life count. What a wonderful journey it can be. Make it happen.
There is no other place to live. There isn't, believe me.
Choose real life over social networks. Observe your surroundings, not your smartphone.
Help other human beings, lend a hand, do it with a smile, touch them.
Feel, smell, taste, ride, run, hide, seek, make love, fight, get tired, get used, listen, let music rule your spirit. What you do may become special, if you try hard enough. Try if you wish, try if you won't. Be happy, be sad, smile, cry, speak about your love, about your fears, be imperfect, just be. Forget what you have, forget what you do not have. When you're gone you just take your spirit with you, nothing else.
Get hooked on to the real thing, thrive on a dull and normal life, no glitz, no glamour, no lies, no fancy stuff, no drip or swag whatsoever, what a thrill life can be.
Elevate your spirit.
And dance, dance until it hurts.
Dance me till the end of love.
An album about peace, love and the love of music.
This is a tribute to life, to the good days, but it is also a reminder of how fragile our existence is.
Be warned, life may become less flat, death and starvation may return, we do not need a war again. Peace must prevail, our planet must be green and blue, a sanctuary of joy and love. Happiness is the word.
Sing a song, dance a dance, we must love each other, forever and ever.
I love you.
